I remember the time where I was just starting my relationship with God. There was a group that gathered for Bible study at my house. The Bible leader was talking about how God transforms and just deals with people, making all things new. So everything of the past is already forgotten and He just makes us grow in our new nature as children of God, co-heirs with Christ in everything!

'' This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!'' (2 Corinthians 5:17)

I asked my leader ''How can I change, in order to please God? Because, I really like to do things that according to the church are wrong. She answered saying; It's not about religion, it's about a personal relationship with God. When you pray ask God to take away the things that doesn't please him from your life, and you will be surprised of how God can work out your growth in Him.

(I'm not saying to not go to church, It is Biblical to do so, and it's part of growing your faith)

I felt satisfied with that answer. I prayed every day for him to make me fit to be used by him, to cleans me from everything that did not please him.

The greatest surprise was noticing that with out even thinking about it, I had changed my way of dressing, drinking habits and the way I used to have fun. From a party lover I became a lover of Jesus Christ. I felt so loved like never before in my life, I had more joy and fun in worship and spending time with him and his people, than anywhere else. I was growing in hope!

Prayer: Jesus help me to grow in your ways, as I lay down my weaknesses before you, I repent and ask for your help to change the habits that doesn't please you. I give you full permission to deal with me for your Glory, In Jesus name.
