How to Trust

To me trusting is a whole process, it's not an easy task, specially if you have been hurt in the past by people that you would never expect and you thought to be trustworthy.
The best thing of all is how our heavenly father heals our wounds.
'' He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds '' (Psalms 147:3)
There is a valuable lesson that God taught me. He made me realise that most people that hurt, offend, are violent, rude, lie, abandon, talk others down etc. are broken because of their past, and most times they just don't know any better. Without experiencing love no one can give love.
Becoming aware of this helped me understand the why of many people's behavior, plus knowing that we have a sinful nature that we need to give to God on a daily basis. But without the Lord it's very, very hard for people to change those destructive and sinful ways and habits.
But how precious when Jesus comes and sets us free from our burdens, this is really something that only he can do in our lives.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17: 7-8)
Trusting God completely is our most secure bet.
As we learn and experience God's love, mercy, peace, favor, abundance and joy, we are called to give by grace what we received from Him by that great grace. Let's show with our testimony those people that don't know any better that there is great hope in Jesus and a transformed life for them in Him.
Prayer: Thank you Jesus, because of knowing you I can walk in trust again, you showed me faithfulness. Help me to show to others what you have done in my life with your love and care. In Jesus name I pray.
