As this morning I was trimming the plants, and bushes of the garden, I started to realize how God trims those extra branches from our lives. To shape, and cleans us. I felt the hard work, but was excited about the outcome. ''Probably this process must hurt the plant'', I thought. But after I was finally done. I sat down and with a nice glass of ice water, I started contemplating the outcome of my work. So nice to look at, so beautifully shaped, so clean looking. Then I started to think in how our heavenly Father, our gardener shapes us, so that we can bare fruit in him. Sometimes trimming those ugly branches of our lives (Gossip, envy, hate, selfishness, greed etc.) hurts to get rid of, but at the end, it helps the plant to produce blooming flowers and fruits. I can imagine the father siting down and contemplating the beauty of his masterpiece, and just smiling and delighting in his work.

'' By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.'' (John 15:8)

'' for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true'' (Ephesians 5:9)

'' But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.'' ( Galatians 5:22-23)

Hallelujah! Isn't this an amazing truth? Let's pray.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for dealing with me every day as you trim and shape me to bare good fruits. Help me to walk in total peace and confidence, because you can see the great outcome even when I don't. Thank you for your care, in Jesus name!
